Club page: Fiordland Players

The wonderful Fiordland Players puts on plays and musicals once or twice a year. Announcements and auditions are usually around the end of Summer and early Autumn. Its shows are performed over three consecutive nights some time between June and September. The Fiordland Players also have costume hire, open on Wednesday from 12–2pm. They may also from time to time host drama workshops.

The Fiordland Players have a committee meeting once a month, and would welcome more members and anyone who would like to get on stage or work behind the scenes, or have ideas or organise events. They particularly need more male adult actors and technical support in light and sound especially. You name it, they need you!

The Players have a shed for their props and costumes, and rehearsal space, at The Players Shed on the corner of Captain Roberts and Sandy Brown road.

The Players have a subscription scheme. Adults $20.00 Family $25.00 Student $10.00 Social/support member $10.00 (there are no voting rights at the AGM.)
